Adjusting the Picture Mode

Select the video quality mode during playback. You can adjust various
options such as [Contrast], [Brightness], [Sharpness], etc.
1.
Press PIC MODE while playing a BD, DVD, movie file, CinemaNow,
Vudu, Netflix or Youtube video. The [Picture Mode] menu appears on
the screen.

Use b B to select the [User Setting] mode to enable video color
setting options.
• Select [Standard] option to disable video color setting options.

Use v v V V to select a desired option then use b B to adjust the value.
The other options will be disappeared for the picture setting. Press
ENTER to display the other options after adjusting.
• Select [Default] option then press ENTER to reset the all video
adjustments.

Use v v V V b B to select [Close] or press RETURN to complete the
settings.
The settings below can be used to reduce the noise or to set the black
level of the video image on the screen. These filter settings can be
adjusted even if the picture mode is in [Standard] mode.
[Block NR] (Block Noise Reduction) – Set this option to [Low], [Mid]
or [High] to reduce the block noise, which may appear especially on
fast-moving pictures, produced in the MPEG compression process.
[Mosquito NR] (Mosquito Noise Reduction) – Set this option to
[Low], [Mid] or [High] to reduce the mosquito (scattering) noise
produced in the MPEG compression process.

[Black Level] – You can adjust the black level of the output signal.
Set this option [On] to display deeper, richer black than in [Off] setting.
Black Level control is only valid in composite output.
