FCC NOTES
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A

hazard caused by improper application. Please note that all of EK series kiosk are NOT
designed to work direct sunshine both indoors and outdoors.

    1.5 Introduction of the Lock There are three positions of the lock. Unlock the Printer Door Unlock the Front Door Full Lock Position  Open the Printer Door To unlock the printer door, turn the key counterclockwise to around 90 degrees.

    To close the printer, follow the direction shown in the below pictures, and then gently release the printer door. The printer door will close automatically. Automatically close. Release the printer door.  Open the Front Door To unlock the front door, turn the key counterclockwise to around 180 degrees.

     Open the Touch Monitor To open the touch monitor, you have to open the front door first. 1) Lift the lever on the left side of the touch monitor, and then 2) gently tilt the touch monitor up. 3) Then use the touch monitor support bracket to support the touch monitor.

  • Page 29 Step-by-Step Installation Place the counter-top unit horizontally on the ground or on the PE foam, and then assemble it and counter-top base plate using four M5-10L screws.     2.3 Rotate the Touch Monitor to Landscape Mode  EK-16xx Series To rotate the touch monitor to landscape mode, you have to open the touch monitor first. Please follow the instructions below. And please make sure the kiosk is completely shut down before you rotate the touch monitor. Turn the key counterclockwise to around 180 degree to open the front door, 1) lift the lever on the left side of the touch monitor, and then 2) gently tilt the touch monitor up.

  • Page 33 After loosening the four M4 screws, gently remove the touch monitor, and carefully rotate the touch monitor 90 degrees to the left (landscape) as shown in the images below.
  • Page 34 Align the positioning point to the positioning hole and then align the four screw holes of the touch monitor with the four screw holes on the touch monitor VESA bracket as shown in the images below. Make sure the cables pass through the cable exit, and then fix the touch monitor with the original four M4 screws.

     EK-21xx/24xx Series Please refer to Step 1 to Step 2 to remove the touch monitor. Then follow the instruction below to rotate and fix the touch monitor to the kiosk. After loosening the four M4 screws, disconnect the cables connected to the main board.
  • Page 36 For EK-21xx Series, align the positioning point to the positioning hole and then align the four screw holes of the touch monitor with the four screw holes on the touch monitor VESA bracket as shown in the images below. Make sure the cables pass through the cable exit, and then fix the touch monitor with the original four M4 screws.
