This manual covers all models of HORST WAGONS. GENERAL INFORMATION The purpose of this manual is to assist you in safely operating and maintaining your HORST Wagon in a safe manner.

These words will be used in conjunction with the Safety Alert Symbol: a dark triangle containing a white exclamation mark.   • Page 7 INITIAL OPERATION / MAINTENANCE BEFORE FIRST USE: Inspect Wagon for shipping damage. If damage does exist, do not use until damaged parts have been replaced or repaired. Ensure slow-moving-vehicle emblem has been properly installed at rear of Wagon. Ensure all persons operating Wagon have read and understood the operator’s manual. Properly fasten all braces, bolts, nuts, lug bolts and lug nuts.

BE CERTAIN ALL POWER IS SHUT OFF ON TOWING VEHICLE BEFORE ADJUSTING, SERVICING, CLEANING OR LUBRICATING THE WAGON. • Securely fasten load to Wagon. • Absolutely no persons may ride on this equipment. • Do not exceed load and size limits of the Wagon or the rating of the tires it is equipped with. •...
  • Page 9 BRAKING SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS WARNING! TOW LOADS SAFELY Stopping distance increases with speed and weight of towed loads and on slopes. Towed loads with or without brakes that are too heavy for the tractor or are towed too fast can cause loss of control. Consider total weight of equipment and its load.
