Step 1: Attaching MTX Platform to Square Tube
Attach MTX Platform to Square Tube
Secure MTX platform to hitch's square tube using bolts, nuts, and washers, ensuring connection is tight.
Optional: Adding a Trailer Ball
Install a trailer ball in the larger diameter vertical hole for trailer towing, accounting for its tongue weight.
Step 2: Attaching m3, Max or Max+ Components
Select Loading Side
Choose the side for mounting the wheelstop to load the motorcycle safely.
Mount Tire Track
Attach the tire track to the MTX platform using bolts and nuts, aligning holes for secure fit.
Prepare Wheelstop for Tire Size
Position and secure the wheelstop components for optimal tire fit, adjusting as needed.
Step 2: Attaching Sport Components
Select Loading Side
Choose the side for mounting the wheelstop to load the motorcycle safely.
Mount Wheelstop
Position and hand-tighten the wheelstop onto the platform for alignment with the ramp.
Mount Tire Track
Secure the tire track to the MTX platform with bolts and nuts, then attach the wheelstop.
Step 3 & 4: Attaching Ramp to MTX Platform
Mount the Ramp Keeper Tab
Secure the ramp keeper tab to the front tie down arm using a bolt and nut.
Stow the Loading Ramp
Place the loading ramp next to the tire track on the ramp keeper tab for transport.
Secure with Linchpin and Lanyard
Tether the lanyard, insert the linch pin, and fold the snap ring to secure the loading ramp.
Secure Wheelstop & Tighten
Tighten all previously hand-tightened nuts and bolts for the wheelstop and ramp.
Step 5: Install ZeroWobble Hitch Mount
Install ZeroWobble Hitch Mount (m3 & Sport)
Insert bolt into hitch pin hole, tighten connection to eliminate shake, and add plastic cap.
Install ZeroWobble+ Hitch Mount (Max & Max+)
Insert bolt with washer, thread barrel nut, and tighten to eliminate shake for a solid connection.
Step 6: Loading Motorcycle onto MotoTote
Engage Ramp Teeth in Slots
Remove the ramp and insert its teeth into the slots on the tire track.
Plan for Tie Down Process
Plan tie-down locations on handlebars or MotoTote loops before loading.
Push Bike Up Ramp
Push the motorcycle up the ramp using body weight until it reaches the wheelstop.
Step 7: Securing Motorcycle to MotoTote
Grab a Helping Hand
Consider having assistance for the first loading and unloading to ensure safety.
Secure Handlebars to Front Tie Down Arm
Connect tie downs to handlebars or MotoTote loops, alternating and tightening for stability.
Secure Back of Bike to Rear Tie Down Loops
Tie strap over the back tire to prevent bouncing, or over seat/rack for scooters.
Stow Loading Ramp for Transport
Place the loading ramp on the keeper tab and linch pin receiver post, securing with the linch pin.
