Remedy
• Connect the AM antenna (refer to the Connecting up) and adjust the direction and position for
best reception. You may also connect an additional internal or external AM antenna (refer to
Connecting external antennas on page 27).
• Fully extend the FM wire antenna, position for best reception, and secure to a wall. You may also
connect an outdoor FM antenna (see Connecting external antennas on page 27).
• Turn off other equipment that may be causing the noise or move it further away.
• The radio signal is weak. Auto tuning will only detect radio stations with a good signal. For more
sensitive tuning, connect an outdoor antenna.
Description
• An operation is prohibited because it is only applicable to 2 channel sources, while the current
source is a multichannel source.
• An operation is prohibited because the source is 96 kHz digital.
• Appears when a menu is automatically exited after a set period of inactivity.
• Background noise is too high to complete MCACC setup successfully.
• An error occurred during MCACC setup because the microphone is not connected or is not
connected properly.
• An error occurred during MCACC setup because the speakers are not connected or are not
connected properly.
• Contact your Pioneer authorized service center or your dealer for servicing.
• Try switching the unit off then on again. If the error still appears, please contact a Pioneer
authorized service center or your dealer.
