The 8947RDA-FR is a dual SD/HD reclocking
distribution amplifier, with automatic format
detection. It provides eight reclocked outputs
and can equalize up to 125 meters of Belden
1694A cable for HD-SDI. It can be used to
distribute either SD-SDI or HD-SDI signals,
making it ideal for mixed-format applications or
installations where an upgrade is planned.
Supporting up to two fiber connections, this
module is ready for either fiber-in or fiber-out
applications. It can also distribute eight non-
inverted DVB ASI outputs, making it ideal for
receiving signals from distant downlinks or
transmitting to remote uplinks.
