Read the following instructions to insure proper fresh air for this and other fuel-burning appliances in your home.

    INSTALLATION NOTICE: This heater is intended for use as supple- mental heat. Use this heater along with your primary heating system. Do not install this heater as your primary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system’s circulating blower while using heater.
  • Page 8 INSTALLATION Thermostat Sensing Bulb Installing Heater To Wall INSTALLATION Continued THERMOSTAT SENSING BULB (Thermostat Models Only) The thermostat sensing bulb has been placed inside the heater for protection during shipping. Locating Thermostat Sensing Bulb (for thermostat applications) Remove front panel of heater (see Figure 7). Locate thermostat sensing bulb just under burner assembly.

WARNING: Maintain minimum clearances shown in Figure 8. If you can, provide greater clearances from floor and joining wall. Mark screw locations on wall (see Figure 8).

    INSTALLATION Continued CONNECTING TO GAS SUPPLY WARNING: This appliance requires a 3/8" NPT (National Pipe Thread) inlet connection to the pres- sure regulator. WARNING: A qualified service person must con- nect heater to gas supply. Follow all local codes. WARNING: For natural gas, never connect heater to private (non-utility) gas wells.
