Thank you for purchasing the AtlasIED Z Series High Definition Acoustical System. The iOS
features. This guide is an overview of the basic functions currently available and describes how to use the Z Series App with a Z2 / Z4 base unit or
Z-SIGN. Visit the App Store, Google Play Store, and AtlasIED.com for updates.
The Z Series App can be used to turn the Enhanced Speech Privacy function on and off, and also adjust Level and EQ settings when in BT range by
connecting to the Z2 / Z4 base unit. The Z Series App can also connect to a Z-SIGN in order to adjust settings when at a longer distance from the
Z2 / Z4 base unit. The Z-SIGN acts as a data transceiver bridge connecting the mobile device to the Z2 / Z4 base unit.
The Z-SIGN incorporates BLE communication technology for pairing to a mobile device for short distance data communication (not streaming audio)

and uses 915MHz ISM Band to transmit longer distances to a Z Series unit. Using the mobile Z Series App allows for remote control and monitoring of
the Z Series system and can assist in setting up levels when in zones. Note: Response is best when connected directly to the Z2 / Z4 base unit. Using
the Z-SIGN as a data bridge adds short delays of system control and status response time (typically <1sec).
