- Page 3 Hardware Installation Connect SATA data/power connector to 2.5’’ or 3.5’’ SATA drive or 5.24’’ SATA device. Connect the system power source to the adapter’s 4-pin Molex power connector. Connect the USB 3.0 cable from the adapter to an available USB port on the computer system. Press the power button on the top of the adapter.
