    INSTALLATION NOTICE: This heater is intended for use as supplemental heat. Use this heater along with your primary heating system. Do not install this heater as your pri- mary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system’s circulating blower while using heater.

If you op- erate heater with doors closed, heat buildup inside fireplace will cause glass to burst. Make sure there are no obstructions across opening of fireplace.
  • Page 18 OPERATING HEATER Continued VARIABLE CONTROL OPERATION The variable control valve can be set to any heat setting and flame height desired, by simply turning the control knob until that setting is attained. Even the lowest setting provides re- alistic, dancing yellow flames. Selecting higher settings produces greater heat output.

Inspect these areas of heater before each use. Have heater inspected yearly by a qualified service person. Heater may need more frequent cleaning due to excessive lint from carpeting, pet hair, bedding...
