Solutions to common problems •
Solutions
Be sure the oven control was set correctly for the requested
feature. See Setting Oven Controls section and review
instructions for the desired cooking function in this manual or see
"Entire appliance does not operate" in this checklist.
Be sure appliance power cord is plugged properly to electrical
outlet. Check house circuit breaker; reset if needed. If the electric
service to the house is out, call your local electric utility for
service.
Contact your dealer, installing agent or authorized service agent
for assistance.
If floor under range is sagging or sloping, contact a carpenter to
correct the problem.
To correct, place oven rack in center of oven. Place a bubble (or
spirit) level centered on the oven rack. Adjust by turning leveling
legs at bottom of range until the oven rack rests level.
Be sure kitchen cabinets are square & have sufficient room for
appliance clearance.
Provide sufficient space so appliance may be lifted over carpet.
Contact builder or installer to make appliance accessible.
This is normal. On some cooking features the convection fan may
run until the feature is done or the door was opened or closed.
The quick bake fan will turn OFF if the oven door is opened while
quick bake feature is active. Close oven door.
This is normal (some models).
Double check that the probe is fully inserted into probe
receptacle. Use only the probe originally supplied with range.
Remove the probe from the receptacle, then reconnect probe into
the receptacle (check that it is fully inserted into the receptacle).
Be sure the probe sensor is covered by food and not exposed to
avoid overheating.
Remove the probe from receptacle and oven. The oven may still
be used normally without the probe. Call your authorized service
agent for assistance.
