Battery Pack Removal
Unlock Battery Latch
Move the 'Unlock' button to release the battery latch.

Push the handspike on the cable connector sides to detach.
Upper and Lower Case Separation
Remove Upper Case Screws
Remove six M2*3.5mm screws from the upper case area.
Detach Right Side of Upper Case
Lift the inside of the upper case right side with thumb.
Detach Left Side of Upper Case
Lift the inside of the upper case left side with thumb.
Detach Upper Case from Lower Case
Detatch the upper case bottom side from the lower case.
Disconnect Touchpad Cable
Release the connector and remove the touchpad cable.
HDD Module Replacement
Remove HDD Mounting Screws
Remove two M2*3.5mm screws securing the HDD.
Remove HDD Module
Slide the HDD module out according to the indicated direction.
Remove HDD Bracket Screws
Remove three M3*3.5mm screws from the HDD bracket.
Remove HDD Bracket
Detach the HDD bracket from the HDD module.
WLAN Module Replacement
Remove WLAN Board Screws
Remove two M2*3.5mm screws from the WLAN board.
Remove WLAN Board
Lift and remove the WLAN board as shown.
Remove Wireless Card Antenna
Disconnect the two wireless card antennas from the board.
Remove WLAN Module Screw
Remove one M2*3.5mm screw securing the WLAN module.
Remove WLAN Module
Slide the WLAN module out according to the diagram.
Lower Case Assembly 1 Disassembly
Remove LVDS Cable
Disconnect and remove the LVDS cable.
Remove LINK Cable
Disconnect and remove the LINK cable.
Remove Speaker and MIC Cables
Disconnect speaker and MIC cables separately.
Remove I/O Board Screws
Remove three M2*3.5mm screws from the I/O board.
Remove Right Side I/O Board
Lift and remove the right side I/O board.
Remove LINK Cable and Covers
Remove LINK cable, Audio and DCIN covers.
Remove Right Hinge Screws
Remove four M2*3.5mm screws from the right hinge.
Remove Left Hinge Screws
Remove three M2*3.5mm screws from the left hinge.
RAM Module Replacement
Push RAM Shielding
Push the shielding on both sides of the RAM module.
Remove RAM Module
Remove the RAM module by sliding it out.
Lower Case Assembly 2 Disassembly
Remove Left I/O Board Screws
Remove three M2*3.5mm screws from the left I/O board.
Remove Left Side I/O Board
Lift and remove the left side I/O board.
Remove DSUB and MODE Covers
Remove the DSUB and MODE covers from the I/O board.
Remove Bluetooth Cable
Disconnect and remove the Bluetooth cable.
Remove Bluetooth Module Screw
Remove one M2*3.5mm screw securing the Bluetooth module.
Remove Bluetooth Module
Lift and remove the Bluetooth module.
Remove Heatsink
Remove Mylar, 3 screws, then detach the heatsink.
Remove Fan Screws (1)
Remove two M2*3.5mm screws near the fan.
Remove Fan Screws (2)
Remove two M2*3.5mm screws near the fan.
Remove Main Board and Fan Cable
Remove main board and pull out fan cable.
Remove Fan from Main Board
Remove the fan from the main board.
Remove L HDMI Cover
Remove the left HDMI cover from the lower case.
Remove SD Card Cover
Remove the SD card cover from the lower case.
Remove R USB Cover
Remove the right USB cover from the lower case.
Remove Speaker Module Screws
Remove three M2*3.5mm screws securing speaker module.
Upper Case Assembly Disassembly
Disconnect T/P Cable and Module
Release T/P cable connector, remove T/P module.
Remove T/P Board Screws
Remove two M2*3.5mm screws from the T/P board.
Remove Mylar and T/P Module
Remove Mylar from T/P module, then detach module.
LCD Module Assembly Disassembly
Remove Cover and Bezel Rubbers
Remove four cover rubbers and one bezel rubber.
Remove Hinge Caps
Insert a stick into the hinge cap to remove it.
Begin LCD Bezel Removal
Start removing the LCD bezel from the upside.
Release Bezel Downside Hooks
Push the bezel to release the five downside hooks.
Lift Bezel and Remove Adhesive
Lift the bezel downside and remove adhesive with stick.
Remove LCD Bezel
Completely remove the LCD bezel from the two sides.
Remove LCD Bezel Magnets
Remove the three magnets attached to the LCD bezel.
Remove LCD Hinge Screws
Remove eight M2*3mm screws securing the LCD hinges.
Remove LCD Hinges
Detach the left and right LCD hinges.
Remove Hook Sponges and Hooks
Remove hook sponges and then the hooks on the panel.
Raise and Remove Display Module
Carefully raise and remove the display module.
Remove LVDS Cable
Remove black tape, then detach the LVDS cable.
Remove Display Module from Cover
Remove the display module from the LCD cover.
Remove Coaxial Camera Cable
Disconnect the coaxial camera cable.
Remove CMOS Camera Module
Carefully remove the CMOS camera module.
Remove MIC Sponge
Remove the MIC sponge covering the MIC module.
Remove MIC Module
Remove the MIC module, aligning with LCD cover dent.
Remove Antenna Board and Covers
Remove antenna board, L-Antenna, R-Antenna, LCD Cover.
