The Tire Pressure Monitoring System

(TPMS) is not a substitute for regular tire pressure inspections. Tire pressures should be

checked at least monthly using a tire pressure gauge. Maintaining the recommended tire

pressure can help avoid performance problems, tire damage and premature wear. See the
