The design of Tacoma's available V6 engine puts the spark plugs in the
center of the combustion chamber. This pentroof combustion creates a
cleaner, more effi cient burn and increases both performance and effi ciency.
3 IT'S GOT BACKBONE
A truck's frame is its source of strength. Tacoma is built on a rugged frame
strengthened with 8-in. cross members, beefed-up center side rails, and
rear inner-channel reinforcements.

Hot air robs engines of their power. The accessory TRD Cold Air Intake
feeds cooler, denser air into the engine, increasing both horsepower
and torque. It uses a conical air fi lter that can be cleaned of dust and
dirt and reused for the life of the truck.
