Determining Coordinates for Aiming Antenna
Connect your receiver to the TV
Connect receiver video or Channel 3/4 outputs to TV inputs. Turn on TV and receiver.
Set the antenna type
Navigate to antenna installation menu and select "oval 3-sat" or equivalent.
Find your coordinates
Navigate to antenna-pointing menu, enter ZIP code, and record Azimuth, Elevation, and Tilt.
Installing EZALIGN™ Mast
Mount the base securely
Ensure mast base is sturdy, mounted on wood or masonry for stability.
Align the mast
Loosen mast bolts, adjust mast using bubble level to be plumb, then tighten.
Tighten mast bolts
Securely tighten the four mast bolts with a nut driver and wrench once plumbed.
Assembling/Adjusting Antenna on Ground
Set Tilt Adjustment
Loosen tilt nuts and set tilt adjustment per coordinate number. Tighten nuts securely.
Set Elevation Adjustment
Loosen elevation nuts, set elevation adjustment per coordinate number. Tighten, but not completely.
Routing RG 6 Cable(s)
Run cable from receiver
Drill hole, connect cable to receiver's "Sat In" jack. Leave receiver unplugged.
Connect to grounding block
Mount grounding block near cable entry, connect cable to it.
Aiming and Fine-tuning Antenna
Align the Azimuth
Set menu to signal meter mode for Sat A (101°). Rotate mast slowly to find peak signal.
Fine-tune the Elevation
Loosen elevation nuts, adjust LNB arm up/down to find peak signal strength, then tighten.
Verify satellite signals
Confirm final signal readings for all three satellites. Sat C (110°) should align automatically.
