6 Hewlett-Packard VPN Server Appliance SA3110 Regulatory Information
The HP VPN Server Appliance SA3110 has the following
mounting options:
Standalone device
Stationary rack
Standalone Device
You can place the HP VPN Server Appliance SA3110 on a
secure surface as a standalone device.
Sta t ionary Rack
The HP VPN Server Appliance SA3110 ships with rack
mounting ears. Install the ears in the appropriate position
for your communications rack and mount the unit.
WARNING: The rack must be bolted to the floor, or anti-
tipping legs must be put in place before you install the
rack.
The HP VPN Server Appliance SA3110 is 1U in height. If
the unit is mounted in an enclosed communications rack,
the recommended maximum rack ambient temperature
should be no greater than 40 degrees Celsius.
Installation of the equipment in the rack should be such
that the amount of airflow required for safe operation for
the equipment is not compromised.
Mounting of the equipment in the rack should be such that
a hazardous condition is not achieved due to uneven
mechanical load.
