Using Windows Add or Remove Programs, remove the HP Storage Server Manage-
ment Service. Run the Service Release installation again and install the HP Storage
Server Management console component.
If you have a mapped drive assigned to a network path that is disconnected, it
might hang the HP Service Release wizard during the installation process.
Provide the complete network path URL as the path.
or
Reconnect the network path for the mapped drive in Windows Explorer.
Service Release does not delete old components while copying the latest components
Following folders can be deleted if present after installing all the latest components
C:\hpnas\Components\HP-UDP4_1-PCL5-x64
C:\hpnas\Components\HP-UDP4_1-PCL6-x64
C:\hpnas\Components\HP-UDP4_1-PS-x64
C:\hpnas\Components\HP-UDP4_1-PCL5-32
C:\hpnas\Components\HP-UDP4_1-PCL6-32
C:\hpnas\Components\HP-UDP4_1-PS-32
C:\hpnas\Components\JRE\JRE-6U5-WINDOWS-I586-P.EXE
During installation of components, "Are you sure you want to cancel Service Release
installation?" message may pop up.
Restart the server and start the installation of components again
Installation progress bar may hang at 99% completion at the Installation Confirmation
page.
Reboot the server and start the installation again.
At the Service Release Updater settings page, after providing the location of Service
Release folder, the wizard may display an error message "HP Storage System Up-
dates not found at requested location. Please try again"
Reboot the server and start the installation again.
