Pressing this key changes the operating mode:
USB LSB PKT
AM
This key generates the DTMF "5" tone during trans-
mission, and frequency entry digit "5" during Direct
Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 6 ( MODE )] key
Pressing this key changes the operating mode:
USB CW CWR
DIG
This key generates the DTMF "6" tone during trans-
mission, and frequency entry digit "6" during Direct
Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 7 ( V/M )] key
Pressing this key switches frequency control between
the VFO and Memory Systems.
This key generates the DTMF "7" tone during trans-
mission, and frequency entry digit "7" during Direct
Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ 8 ( DWN BAND )] key
Pressing this key causes the frequency to be moved
down by one frequency band:
1.8 MHz 430 MHz
88 MHz 50 MHz
21 MHz 18 MHz
10 MHz 7 MHz
1.8 MHz .....
This key generates the DTMF "8" tone during trans-
mission, and frequency entry digit "8" during Direct
Keypad Frequency Entry.

mission, and frequency entry digit "0" during Direct
Keypad Frequency Entry.
[ ENT ( # )] key
Press this key to enter the Direct Keypad Frequency
Entry mode.
Example:
To enter 14.25000 MHz, press
[ ENT ]
To enter 0.95000 MHz, press
[ ENT ]
You may recall a memory channel, as well;
