Assembly

Gauge Wheel Adjustment
Adjust gauge wheels on flat surface to desired cutting height.
Mulcher Plate Installation
Install mulcher plate over opening, hook latches. Convert to bagging or discharging by removing plate.
Functional Description
Control Panel Overview
Identifies controls: Light switch, throttle, brake/clutch pedal, gear lever, cutting unit control, lift lever, ignition, parking brake.
Light Switch Operation
Controls the operation of the headlights, if equipped.
Throttle Control
Regulates engine revs and blade rotation speed. Sets engine speed to full or idling.
Brake and Clutch Pedal
When pressed, applies brake and disengages motor transmission.
Gear Shift Lever
Controls forward, neutral, and reverse gears. Must be used with clutch pedal.
Cutting Unit Controls
Lever connects/disconnects cutting unit. Lever adjusts cutting unit height.
Ignition Lock
Key positions: OFF, ROS ON, ON, START. Controls engine operation and safety systems.
Parking Brake
Engage by pressing brake pedal and lifting lever. Release by pressing brake pedal.
Choke Control
Pull out for cold engine start. Push in when engine runs smoothly.
Operator Presence and ROS Systems
Check systems are working. Engine stops if operator leaves seat or shifts to reverse with attachment engaged.
Before Starting
Filling Up with Fuel
Use unleaded petrol. Do not overfill. Check cap. Store petrol safely.
Checking Oil Level

Tire Air Pressure Check
Check tire pressure regularly. Front tires 1 bar, rear tires 0.8 bar.
Driving
Starting the Motor
Ensure cutting unit is in transport position and disconnected. Press clutch/brake pedal, set gear lever to neutral.
Choke Control Operation
Pull out for cold engine start. Push in when engine runs smoothly.
Gas Control Operation
Adjust for warm engine. Half-way to full gas position for cutting.
Ignition Key Operation
Turn key to START. Do not crank starter motor more than 5 seconds. Return key to ON after engine starts.
Driving the Tractor
Lower cutting unit, connect unit, choose speed, release brake/clutch pedal slowly.
Cutting Tips
Clear lawn of stones. Start with high cutting height, reduce as needed. Avoid wet grass.
Cutting Techniques
Cut close to trees/bushes on left. Turn right to throw grass away from beds.
Switching Off the Engine
Disengage attachment clutch, set throttle, lift unit, turn key to STOP.
Maintenance, Adjustment

Disconnect spark plug wire before any repair, inspection, or maintenance.
Cleaning Procedures
Do not use high pressure washer. Water can enter engine and transmission.

Raise hood, unsnap connector, grasp sides, tilt forward, lift off.

Check fuel, plug, connections, carburetor, fuel pipe for issues.

Engine Runs Unevenly
Check gear, plug, carburetor, air filter, fuel vent, ignition setting, fuel pipe.
Engine Overheats
