Adjust gauge wheels on flat surface to desired cutting height.
Mulcher Plate Installation
Install mulcher plate over opening, hook latches. Convert to bagging or discharging by removing plate.
Functional Description
Control Panel Overview
Identifies controls: Light switch, throttle, brake/clutch pedal, gear lever, cutting unit control, lift lever, ignition, parking brake.
Light Switch Operation
Controls the operation of the headlights, if equipped.
Throttle Control
Regulates engine revs and blade rotation speed. Sets engine speed to full or idling.
Brake and Clutch Pedal
When pressed, applies brake and disengages motor transmission.
Gear Shift Lever
Controls forward, neutral, and reverse gears. Must be used with clutch pedal.
Cutting Unit Controls
Lever connects/disconnects cutting unit. Lever adjusts cutting unit height.
Ignition Lock
Key positions: OFF, ROS ON, ON, START. Controls engine operation and safety systems.
Parking Brake
Engage by pressing brake pedal and lifting lever. Release by pressing brake pedal.
Choke Control
Pull out for cold engine start. Push in when engine runs smoothly.

Driving
