1,Bofore you are going to use this cable, please make sure you have a
smart phone with Micro USB port or type-c port, your phones should
support OTG function.You can contact with your phone's manufacture
for more supports about if your phone supports OTG or not. Or you can
go to your phone's settings and check if you have enabled the OTG
function, sometimes you probably need to turn on the USB debugging
function on the developer option. It differs with different phones.
2, If you have purchased the cable from CableCreation, you can use the
following steps to confirm if your phone supports OTG or not.
2.1 Prepare a USB wired mouse
2.2 If you have a smart phone with Micro USB port, plug the micro
USB to your phone, and hook your USB wired mouse to the USB female
port, and move your mouse, your cursor should appear on your phone'
s desktop.

port and Type-C part together as follows,
