    DVD title from another region is inserted. CAUTION: ComproDVD and some DVD drives will only allow you to set the regional settings five times. After that the region code will be permanently fixed. Subsequently, playback of DVD titles will be limited to one region.

    Playing Other Media Files Playing VCD/SVCD ComproDVD allows you to play practically anything with digital content, and this includes VCD formats (Video CD and Super Video CD) or audio CD. Of course, because of VCD/SVCD’s inherent limitations, it will not be able to fully utilize all DVD functions.
  • Page 13 Configuration Options for VCD/SVCD VCD and SVCD programming varies greatly among titles. Therefore, not all ComproDVD features are available. Primarily, if a selection is grayed out, it is not available for that specific title. Most of the functions in the Main Controls will not be available for SVCD/VCD.
  • Page 14 Now, for any drag ‘n’ drop assignment, it is best to resize your Windows Explorer window so that the ComproDVD icon is visible. Find your file, click it, drag it over to the ComproDVD user interface, and then drop it. ComproDVD will begin playback.

    Check the Show warning messages if you would like to see warnings and additional cautions. Show icon in system tray when minimized displays the ComproDVD icon in the system tray (lower right corner of your screen area by the time display) when minimized so it increases accessibility.
