INSTRUCTIONS
Tools Required: Screwdriver, Wrench
1. Turn off water supply.
2. Unscrew handle screw using a screwdriver, and take handle off.
Save it for later.
3. Unscrew the tube and flange. Save it for later.
4. Use a wrench to unscrew the old stem assembly.
Set Up The Rotation Direction For New Stem Assembly
Tools Required: Flat head screwdriver, Wrench
A. Unscrew the black bonnet. Save it for later.
B. Use flat head screwdriver to pry off the white stem stop.
C. The stem stop can be inserted in two ways depending on the
direction you want to have for your handle.
D. One side of the stem stop is marked as "L"(Left) rotation and the other
side with "R"(Right).
E. Choose the letter "R" facing out if you want the handle to OPEN with
clockwise rotation and letter "L" to OPEN counterclockwise.
F. Once you set up the rotation direction, look for the MISSING TOOTH on
stem and stem stop. Slip stem stop back on the stem, align the notches
properly and make sure the stem stop is fixed firmly.
G. Screw the black bonnet to the stem.
5. Install the new stem that already comes with the gasket attached.
6. Tighten the new stem, being careful not to over tighten it.
7. Turn on water supply and check for leaks. Open both stems and
check water flow.
8. Reinstall the saved components in the order they were removed.

Herramientas requeridas: destornillador y llave
1. Cierra el suministro de agua.
2. Desenrosca el tornillo de la manija con un destornillador y retira la
manija. Guárdalo para después.
3. Desenrosca el tubo y la brida. Guárdalo para después.
4. Usa una llave para desatornillar el ensamblaje del vástago antiguo.
Configura la dirección de rotación para
el ensamblaje del nuevo vástago
Herramientas requeridas: destornillador de cabeza plana y llave
A. Desenrosca el bonete negro. Guárdalo para después.
B. Utiliza el destornillador de cabeza plana para hacer palanca en el
tope del vástago blanco.
C. El tope del vástago se puede insertar de dos maneras dependiendo de
la dirección que desees tener para la manija.
D. Un lado del tope del vástago está
(izquierda) y el otro lado con "R" (derecha).
E. Elige la letra R hacia afuera si deseas que la manija se ABRA con
rotación en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj y la letra L para ABRIR
en el sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj.
F. Una vez que configures la dirección de rotación, busca el DIENTE
FALTANTE en el vástago y el tope del vástago. Desliza el tope del
vástago nuevamente en el vástago, alinea las muescas correctamente
y asegúrate de que el tope del vástago esté firmemente fijado.
G. Atornilla el bonete negro al vástago.
5. Instala el nuevo vástago que ya viene con la junta adjunta.
6. Aprieta el nuevo vástago, teniendo cuidado de no apretarlo demvasiado.
7. Abre el suministro del agua y comprueba que no haya fugas. Abre
ambos vástagos y verifica el flujo de agua.
8. Vuelve a instalar los componentes guardados en el orden en que
fueron eliminados.
