FEATURES
• Easily switch between Automatic Timer and Manual Control by pressing the MODE button.
• Anytime in Automatic or Manual mode, the load can be switched ON/OFF manually by
pressing the MAN button or front cover plate when it is closed.
• The large and easy-to-read LCD screen displays the current day of week, time, Auto/Manual
mode, whether the Load is ON or OFF, and in programming, the program settings.
• The Timer can be programmed up to 18 ON and 18 OFF settings.
DESCRIPTION
The 7-day digital timer is our solution for automated indoor and outdoor lighting. It is easy to
program and customize for any day of the week or multiple days. The HET01-C-J can replace
a standard single pole wall switch. This timer can control incandescent lights, fluorescent lights,
flood lights, stereos, or heavy-duty loads up to 15 amps.
NOTE: This device will require 2 minutes warm up to be fully operated. Please allow 2 minutes
warm up preparation after the installation.
WARNING
Turn the power off at the circuit breaker before
installing this device.
Read and understand these instructions before installing. This device is intended for installation
in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations. Make sure to turn off the
circuit breaker or fuse(s) and make sure power is off before wiring the device. It is recommended
that a qualified electrician performs this installation.
Use copper wires only.
WIRING DIRECTIONS
1. Remove the wall plate.
2. Remove existing switch from wall box and prior to disconnecting wires, identify the
wires and label as needed.
3. Remove wires from existing switch.
4. Follow the diagram below to connect the HET01-C-J sensor switch.
WARNING: The white wire you see in a wall box is not
always the neutral wire. Verify whether the
power enters the wall or ceiling box first
