Getting Started with The Vicks Germ Free
Cool Moisture Humidifier: V3900
To get the most out of your Vicks Germ Free Cool Moisture Humidifier follow these
helpful steps:

Place your humidifier on a firm, level,
water resistant surface at least
six inches from the wall, out of
the reach of children and pets.

Insert new filter into unit by
gently folding and inserting
into filter slot.
Filter Information
To maintain the life of your filter, be sure to let it air dry when the humidifier is not in use.
Over time, your filter will discolor because it is absorbing the minerals out of your water - this is normal. For even
mineral saturation and extended filter life, be sure to flip the filter, from top to bottom, with each filling of the tank.
To clean your filter, never use any chemicals and only use cool water. Be sure to let it air dry - do not squeeze
the filter since that could damage the structure.

Remove the water tank from
the unit. Fill with cool water and
secure the tank cap, making sure
it is properly sealed.

If you are using Vicks VapoPads,
insert scent pad with angled
side facing downward into the
VapoPad slot.

Soak the filter in cool water.
Do NOT wring filter.

Replace the water tank. Set
fan speed to High for Max
Moisture, Medium for Everyday
Moisture, or Low for Nighttime
sound sleep mode.
