Care & Instructions
Thank you for purchasing a Thermo-Poultry Brooder by K&H Pet Products. When cared for properly,
your brooder will provide years of hassle-free service. Features include a convenient "tilt" option, only 25 watts,
a 5'6" power cord, simple to adjust heater height, and tool-free assembly! MET Listed
WARNING: This is an electrical product. Read all directions and precautions carefully before operating.
Failure to properly follow all directions and instructions may lead to electrical shock or fire which could cause serious bodily injury.
IMPORTANT FEATURES:
The K&H Thermo-Poultry Brooder's easy adjustable height, coupled
with the special "tilt" option make it the most chick-friendly brooder
on the market.
For instances of small chicks, utilize the tilt option so the front of the
heater is taller and leans toward the back. The baby chicks will use
the option of staying toward the front or back depending on the
level of warmth desired.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Run the cord through the center hole in one of the

end braces. See Figure 1.

Choose the holes for the correct height of the heater panel.
Line up the connectors on the heater panel with the holes
on the end braces. See figure 2.
Push firmly to seat the heater panel connectors into the end
braces. It's that simple!

NOTE:
As your chicks grow, you can easily adjust the height of the
heater panel by choosing the next set of adjustment holes.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed including
the following:

To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse cord,
plug, or appliance in water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when used by or
near children.

ALWAYS unplug from outlet when not in use.

DO NOT operate any electrical appliance with a damaged
cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any way. RETURN all malfunctioning appliances
to the factory for examination.
•
DO NOT use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
•
DO NOT PUNCTURE HOUSING FOR ANY REASON.
•
For use with 1 10- 1 20 volt AC ONLY.
•
Always make sure the cord exits your chick's enclosure.
Keep cord out of shelter.
Cleaning:
Your THERMO-POULTRY BROODER may be wiped down with a
soap solution and a damp cloth. Thoroughly dry before using.
