Read this information before using your phone In August 1996 the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States with its action in Report and Order FCC 96-326 adopted an updated safety standard for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic energy emitted by FCC regulated transmitters.

Display ( [Menu]+[2] ) Backlight ( [Menu]+ [2]+[1] ) Allows you to select how long or when the display screen and keypad are backlit. The backlight is turned off 10 seconds after the last key is pushed. the backlight is turned off 30 seconds after the last key is pushed.
One-Touch ([Menu]+ [3]+[4]) Enable/Disable one-touch dialing.
