1. SAFETY
• WARNING! DO NOT use the tool if damaged, has missing parts or is thought to be faulty.
• WARNING! Disconnect from air supply when changing accessories or servicing.
• WARNING! Always wear approved eye, face and hand protection when operating the tool.
• WARNING! Due to the possible presence of asbestos dust from brake linings, when working around
vehicle brake systems We recommend you wear suitable respiratory protection Always wear an HSE
approved dust mask (FFP1, FFP2, FFP3).
• WARNING! Always wear approved hand & ear protection. Ensure the gloves are not loose fitting or
frayed on the fingers.
• WARNING! Store idle air tools out of reach of children and DO NOT allow persons unfamiliar with
the tool or the instructions to operate the tool.
• Dress appropriately. DO NOT wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away
from moving parts.
• Use the tool in accordance with these instructions considering working conditions and the work to be
performed.
• WARNING! Always keep a tight grip on the tool, using additional hand grips if they are available.
Failure to do so may end up with injuries to hands and wrist.
• DO NOT point the tool towards anyone.
• DO NOT force the tool.
• WARNING! Check correct air pressure is maintained and not exceeded.
• WARNING! Keep air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check air hose for wear before
each use and ensure that all connections are secure.
• DO NOT operate the tool if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating
medication.
• DO NOT overreach. Always keep proper footing and balance. Ensure the floor is not slippery and
wear non-slip shoes.
• DO NOT use unauthorized parts and accessories, which may do harm to human body and
pneumatic tools.
• DO NOT use any liquids to clean the tool. Vacuum or dust with a clean rag will be sufficient.

    • Keep the work area clean and well lit. • Follow all workshop safety rules, regulations, and conditions when using the tool. • The tool surface may become very hot after prolonged use. Avoid contact with the casing until it has cooled.

    4. OPERATION Description Trigger Exhaust Compressed Air Inlet Anvil Forward/Reverse/Speed setting Be sure to use the correct air compressor with air-powered tools. The compressor should be able to supply a minimal air delivery of 6.36 SCFM @ 90 psi to ensure the compressor can run continuously with the tool.

Preparing a tool for first time operation Lubricate the tool before use. 2 drops of air tool (PCL part no ISO 221L) oil applied directly into the compressed air inlet (3) will increase tool life Affix a whip hose to the compressed air inlet. This will minimise any ‘whip’ from the hose, should it become disconnected.
