    12 Safety This chapter provides you with important safety notices when handling the device. The device corresponds with the required safety regulations. Improper use can result in personal or property damages. 12.1 Intended use This device is only intended for use in households in enclosed spaces for making ice cubes.

    13.5 Unpacking Unpack your ice maker as follows:  Take out the ice maker from the box and remove the interior and exterior packaging.  Remove the tapes for fixing the ice scoop and ice basket.  Before using your ice maker for the first time, thoroughly clean the water reservoir and the ice basket as well as the ice shovel (see chapter Cleaning and Maintenance).
