SmartHome Manual 1. Download the SmartHome App Please download the app using one of the following methods: Method 1: Scan the following QR code and download the latest version. Method 2: Search for SmartHome on the App Store or Google Play app market and download the latest version.

Note: Wireless signal strength or other factors may influence network communication. ● Typically this will be resolved automatically but if the device remains o ine, please reconfigure the network connection on the device through your app.
4. Over The Air (OTA) Updates The most recent version will include a new OTA mechanism. To perform an OTA update either: The module automatically polls the cloud for firmware updates at 12-hour intervals ● and downloads updates if found. 5. Using the App From the home screen of the app, tap the HEMS icon to see the device “Overview” screen.Navigate to “Analysis” or “Settings” at the bottom of the page for additional functions. 5.1 Overview From the Overview screen you can see the current status of the HEMS: Normal, Standby, O Line, Warning or O -Grid.
5.2 Overview: Energy Flow Diagram The energy flow diagram is based on real-time data from the HEMS, showing the household's PV power generation, load power, energy storage power, energy storage SoC and grid power consumption. The displayed components typically include the HEMS, Grid, PV, Battery , Home, Heat Pump and EV Charger but may vary depending on your installation.
5.3 Overview: General Information Additional information is also visible from the Overview screen. The tiles below the Energy Flow Diagram show values for the current day. Generated Today: Energy generated by the PV system from 00:00 until the current time. Consumed Today: Household consumption during the same period.
5.4 Analysis From the Overview page, tap on Analysis at the bottom of this screen for additional insights. By default, data is summarized at the daily level. Switch to Month, Year or Lifetime, at the top of the Analysis screen. Tapping on the date, it is possible to select a particular day, month or year respectively.
5.5 Control Modes 5.5.1 Backup Reserve Apart from optimizing the generation and consumption of energy, the battery can also be used as an emergency backup, in case of grid failure. In the Settings tab at the bottom of the Overview screen, tap to toggle the Backup Reserve.
5.5.4 Charge and Discharge Schedule For advanced users who wish to specify times during which the battery should be charged or available for discharged, it is possible to schedule these activities. A possible reason for doing this would be to take advantage of specific tari s for buying and selling energy.

The schedule can be repeated or run on a specific day. Multiple schedules can be saved. You can then elect which schedule to activate.
5.5.5 Heat Pump For advanced users who have Heat Pump, toggle the Heat Pump to use PV power for Heat Pump(domestic hot water) . 5.6 Function To access additional information such as the serial number (SN), software version of the HEMS as well as the app version, tap on the energy manager icon on the home screen and the click on the ellipses (…) at the top, right of the screen.
5.7 Fault Management In the event of a malfunction, a warning prompt will appear. Tap on the status to view the error details. The pop-up window will show more information as well as the probable cause of the error and a suggested course of action.

2.4 Energy Curve A graph showing the power generation or consumption of the various elements of the system, at a daily level. 3. Analysis Click on “Analysis” on the left hand pane of the screen. By default, values are shown at a daily level but can be summarized at month, year or lifetime. 3.1 Energy View Generation shows the distribution of power from the PV to either the home, battery or grid.

• Feed-In This mode is suitable for areas with high feed-In tari . When the PV power is greater than the inverter capacity, the excess electricity will be stored by energy storage. When PV power is less than the inverter capacity, the excess electricity will be sold to the grid.
