  • Page 4 ETL-ES-Carla-WH25 PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION ANTES DE LA INSTALACIÓN Use metal outlet box suitable for fan support (must support 35 lbs). Before attaching fan to outlet box, ensure the outlet box is securely fastened by at least two points to a structural ceiling member (a loose box will cause the fan to wobble).

Loosen (do not remove) the screws (2) from the bracket as shown above. Install Install mounting bracket to outlet box in ceiling using the screws and washers provide with the outlet box.

Hang fan from mounting plate by inserting "T"-shaped end of bracket into slot opening of mounting plate. This will allow for hands free wiring. SEE APPENDIX FOR ALTERNATE INSTALLATION OPTIONS ON PAGE 15.

  • Page 8 ETL-ES-Carla-WH25 MOUNTING INSTALACIÓN The reverse switch is located at the top of the decorative motor housing. Carefully lift the housing up toward and plug the 4-poles connectors together. The decorative motor housing has two mating slots (1) and two mating holes (2). Position both slots on the motor housing directly under and in line with two screws in the mounting bracket (3). Lift the motor housing, allowing the two screws to slide into the mating slots.

Tighten screws securely. NOTE: Some Install two screws and star washers into the mating holes of the motor models do not utilize motor gaskets, washers, or stabilizer tabs.

The converting plate has 3 keyhole slots, align the slots to the protruding screws from support plate (2). Attach and rotate the converting plate clockwise to engage the key- slots, then install the screw removed in step 11 into the closed hole and tighten all 4 screws securely.
