ULTRA™ THERMOMETER ACCURACY
Ultra™ thermometers are tested at selected test
points to be within tighter than normal tolerances
to assist in providing improved accuracy. Other
points will not necessarily fall within the same
accuracy as those found at the selected test
points, but will be within an accuracy of ±1°C.
OPERATION
1. Remove the protective sheath.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on.
3. Press the °F/°C button to toggle the display
between displaying °F and °C.
4. Insert the stem of the thermometer into the
material to be measured.
To use the protective sheath as a thermometer holder,
slide the stem of the thermometer through the hole
located at the end of the sheath.
5. Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit off.
To conserve battery life, always turn the unit off
when not in use.
6. Replace the protective sheath.
ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES
If this thermometer does not function properly for
any reason, replace the battery with a new high-
quality battery (see "Battery Replacement" sec-
tion). Low battery power can occasionally cause
any number of "apparent" operational difficulties.
Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will
solve most difficulties.
