Milwaukee C12 Manual
SAFETY
- Review enclosed C12 operation and safety materials before operating the tool. Only trained professionals are advised to operate the Golden Bear Tool.
- Keep fingers, clothing, and other objects away from the front of the tool, moving parts, strap, and buckle during operation.
- Be cautious of excessive tensioning. Over tensioning the strap may result in severe injury due to a break in strapping, which could cause airborne strapping materials or tool parts.
- Wear protective eye equipment when operating the tool.
- Use only recommended strapping for the Golden Bear C12 tool: Woven and Composite strapping 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", and 1 1/2".
- Inspect tool regularly and discontinue use if parts begin to malfunction or wear.
- Since the C12 tool is battery operated, keep away from water and damp areas. To clean, spray with compressed air or wipe with a dry cloth.
- Reapply strap if damaged, including the area by the gripper foot.
- Remove battery when tool is not in use or during tool maintenance.
Operating Instructions
- Set up
Insert bottom strap by squeezing the handle and feeding the strap under the gripper.

- Secure Strapping
Insert strap coming off buckle into the windlass.

- Tension
Select gear. Pull the trigger to desired tension.

- Removal
Squeeze handle, and pull the tool to the right to remove.

Warning
- Always comply with the strapping manufacturer limitations. Applying insufficient banding for the load, using insufficient buckles, or applying more tension than the strapping is able to handle may cause serious damage to the operator, tool, and the package.
- Any modifications to the Golden Bear tool should be made by Golden Bear only. Should your tool need attention, contact your Golden Bear Sales Representative.
- The Golden Bear tool has been manufactured with the highest attention to detail, quality, and safety. If for any reason you do not feel that your Golden Bear tool is performing up to standards, or if the tool is presenting difficulty in operation, contact your Golden Bear Sales Representative and discontinue use immediately.
