2-STAGE DRIFT CUTTERS
ACSN06
For use with the RYOBI 40V RY408015 22 in. Snow Blower
and 40V RY40807 24 in. Snow Blower ONLY*.
*For products with serial number RG23 or higher; not compatible with serial
numbers starting with EU21 or RG22.
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of injury, user must read and understand
the operator's manual for their snow blower before using
this accessory. Always wear proper eye protection. Turn off
the snow blower and remove the battery before changing
or adjusting accessories. For outdoor use only—store
indoors.
INSTALLING AND USING THE DRIFT
CUTTERS
See Figures 1- 4.
„ Remove the battery pack from the battery port.
„ Insert the carriage bolts from the inside of the auger
housing through the holes in the housing.
„ Align the slot of the drift cutter over the carriage bolts
before securing the washers and knobs.
„ Screw the knobs and washers onto the carriage bolts to
hold the drift cutter in place. Hand tighten.
„ Slide the drift cutter to the desired height.
NOTE: The height of the drift cutter should extend above
the top layer of the snow.
„ Securely tighten both knobs.
„ Repeat the steps with the second drift cutter on the other
side of the unit.
„ Insert battery and follow the instructions from your snow
blower manual.
„ Plow through the snow drifts and the packed snow.
When not in use:
„ Turn the two knobs counterclockwise to loosen the drift
cutter.
„ Slide the drift cutter down so that it rests against the upper
carriage bolt.
„ Securely tighten in the storage position.
„ Repeat steps on the other side of the unit.
