Safety Precautions
This symbol points out important safety instructions which, if
not followed, could endanger the personal safety and/or proper-
ty of yourself and others. Read and follow all instructions in this
manual before attempting to install or operate this spreader.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in personal
injury. When you see this symbol. HEED ITS WARNING!
This liquid spray system was built to be operated according to
the safe operation practices in this manual. As with any type of
power equipment, carelessness or error on the part of the oper-
ator can result in serious injury. This spreader and liquid spray
system are capable of amputating hands and feet and throwing
objects. Failure to observe the following safety instructions may
result in serious injury or death.
Improper installation and operation could cause personal
injury, and/or property damage. Observe the following Safety
Precautions before, during and after operating this spreader and
liquid spray system. By following these precautions and common
sense, possible injury to persons and potential damage to this
spreader may be avoided.
• Read and fully understand the entire Installation and
Operator's Manual before operating the spreader and
Liquid Spray System.
• Read and fully understand all safety decals on the
spreader before operating the spreader.
• Check to make sure all safety guards and shields are
securely mounted and in place before operating this
spreader. Never remove or modify guards or shields.
• Verify that all personnel are clear of the spreader
spray area before starting or operating this spreader
and Liquid Spray System.
DANGER
WARNING
• Always wear hand, eye and skin protection when
working with de-icing chemicals. Use extreme care.
• Do not over-load your vehicle beyond payload limits.
If there are any questions, contact the end stage
vehicle manufacturer.
• Shut off vehicle before servicing, adjusting, or cleaning
the spreader and/or and Liquid Spray System. Do not
unclog material jambs without shutting off the vehicle
and disconnecting the hydraulics or electric drive motor
connections.
• Keep hands, feet, hair, and loose clothing away from
moving parts.
• Do not operate a spreader or Liquid Spray System
that needs maintenance or repairs.
• Do not operate a spreader or Liquid Spray System
while ill, tired, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Reservoir Installation Instructions
1. Assembly tray, brackets and mounts as shown in fig.1

2. Weld assembled mounts to spreader lower frame
as shown in fig.2. Make sure you provide adequate
clearance for all necessary truck's components.
