    1 PREFACE Dear FIT customer, The FIT system offers many useful functions and options and we are pleased that you have decided to choose our system. Please read through the operating instructions carefully to ensure you use the system safely and get off to a quick start.

    Don’t let yourself be distracted by the display. If you don’t concentrate fully on traffic, you risk becoming involved in an accident. Do not open either the control element or the FIT Master Node Display. They can be damaged if they are opened and any warranty claims will be forfeited.

    4.1 FIT MASTER NODE DISPLAY The FIT Master Node Display controls the e-bike system and uses the integrated display to show the user all important information. The FIT Master Node Display is installed in the upper tube of the e-bike. The Master Node Display is secured with a spring at the top and a screw at the bottom.

    4.2 FIT REMOTE PURE LEFT The FIT Remote Pure with ring control and function button is the ideal accessory for every e-bike rider who wants full control of their assistance level. The ring on the remote enables intuitive control of the assistance level by simply rotating it.

    INSTRUCTION MANUAL FIT MASTER NODE DISPLAY + FIT REMOTE PURE LEFT PINION 4.2.2 PINION TE1 E-TRIGGER The compact Pinion TE1 e-trigger gear lever has been specially developed for shifting with Pinion Smart.Shift shift technology. The goal was to provide clear haptic feedback. With a defined lever path and sophisticated micro button tuning, you can precisely initiate each shifting process.

    5.1.2 PAIRING/COUPLING THE FIT KEY CARD WITH THE FIT E-BIKE CONTROL APP The FIT Key Card is your ticket to the digital FIT world for every e-bike with FIT 2.0 integration. The individual ID is based on the SmartX technology from ABUS and ensures a secure connection to the e-bike with a unique key.

    Follow the instructions in the FIT E-Bike Control app 5.1.3 ASSISTANCE MODES You can adjust the assistance level with the buttons Decrease assistance / increase (FIT Master Node Display) and Ring Down/Up (FIT Remote Pure Left). When changing the assistance mode, the display briefly shows all available assistance modes.

    INFO-CIR NOTICE Trailing is activated by default, and can be deactivated only via the FIT E-Bike Control App. To use the FIT E-Bike Control App, your smartphone must be connected to the e-bike using a FIT Key Card (see Section l 5.1.2).

    In order to activate the Boost function (only possible while riding), press and hold down either the function button or the ring up on the FIT Remote Pure Left. The Boost function is activated as long as the ring or button is held down.

    Main beam The lights are switched on or off by briefly pressing the on/off/light button of the FIT Master Node Display. Various lighting systems are installed depending on the area of use and bicycle type. If this has a daytime running light function, the system will always switch automatically between low beam and daytime running light.

    INSTRUCTION MANUAL FIT MASTER NODE DISPLAY + FIT REMOTE PURE LEFT PINION 5.3 E-SHIFT Use the up/down buttons on the gear shift to select the speed manually. You can switch to or exit the automatic mode selected in the settings menu (Auto.Shift or Auto.Shift.Pro) by holding the button (3 seconds) on the front lever of the Pinion TE1 e-trigger.

    INSTRUCTION MANUAL FIT MASTER NODE DISPLAY + FIT REMOTE PURE LEFT PINION AUTO.SHIFT In Auto.Shift mode, the up/down button (e.g. Pinion TE1 E-Trigger) is used to reduce/increase the cadence (pedal frequency). If the cadence is changed, the cadence display will be shown briefly.

    You can acknowledge the messages by pressing any button on the FIT Master Node Display or FIT Remote Pure Left. If the underlying problem has not been solved, a corresponding icon appears in the top right-hand corner of the display.

    In the settings menu of the FIT E-Bike Control app, the selection display can be deactivated during the ride in the submenu My Bike Disable menu displays. If the menu display is disabled, you can switch directly between the individual main displays by pressing the increase/decrease assistance buttons for longer than 3 seconds.
