Which devices can I use with the Polaroid Lab?
The Polaroid Lab works with these phone models:
iPhone:
iPhone 7 and newer, with IOS 16.3.1 or higher are compatible with the Polaroid Lab.
The augmented reality feature is available with iPhone 7 and newer.
iPhone 5, iPhoneSE (2016) and smaller are not compatible.
Android:
The Polaroid Lab works with most popular Android phones, such as Samsung, Google Pixel,
Huawei, OnePlus, Xiaomi and LG with a screen size bigger than 4.7 inches and 326 ppi density.
The Polaroid Lab works with Android 7 and newer.
Please note: Fairphone 3 is not compatible with Polaroid Lab.
Samsung flip phones are not compatible with Polaroid Lab.
AR Compatibility:
To use the augmented reality feature, your phone must also be supported by Google. Find your
phone here:

Check your phone settings to know if your phone can be used with the Polaroid Lab. The
Polaroid app will also notify you if your phone is not compatible.

  • Page 2 Please follow the below steps to expose your first image: 1. Turn on the Polaroid Lab by pressing the ON button. The tower will extend and the rainbow lights up. 2. Make sure the Polaroid Lab is fully charged (Check the LEDs on the back).
  • Page 3 Polaroid Lab's cradle. 7. The Polaroid logo LED lights will flash a few times and then remain solid. You can then press the red shutter button on the Lab and your photo will eject and begin developing.
  • Page 4 LED. You may need more film. If you have film left in the Lab, it may be that your phone is not aligned correctly. Use the app to find the right position. The rainbow LED will blink 3 times once the phone is aligned. Now you can make your photo.

  • Page 7 The Polaroid Lab transforms any digital image on your smartphone into a Polaroid photo in an instant. The Lab is not a printer, nor a scanner; it exposes the digital image on your phone using light from the phone display to make a new picture using 100% real Polaroid chemistry.
  • Page 9 Once the shutter is closed, the image is ejected from the Polaroid Lab using the red button. As it exits the Polaroid Lab, the film passes between its rollers, rupturing the pod within the border of the film.
