Safety
• Handle the product with care. Make sure that you do not damage the surface of
the solar cell and that it does not become covered with dust or other dirt.
• The product must not be changed or modified in any way.
• Do not let children play with the product.
• The battery must be replaced only with another rechargeable battery.

Installation
On 95 x 95 mm post
Position the light housing on the post and secure it with the screws supplied (4).
On a smaller post
Position the light housing on the post and fill in the gap between the light housing

and the post on both sides with a piece of wood of the right thickness. Secure it

using the screws supplied (4).
With the mounting plate
A
Position the plate (5) where you want the light. The light housing can be attached in
two different ways, depending on what you prefer (A or B). Secure the light housing
using the screws supplied (3).
Using the product
1. Set the on/off switch (2) to ON. Note: The light can only charge when
the on/off switch is ON.
2. The light comes on automatically at dusk/in the dark (provided that
the battery has been charged) and turns off at dawn/when it gets light.
Note: Where you position the light affects how well it charges. It needs as much
sunlight as possible to charge fully. Other light sources, such as street lighting,
affect its performance.
Care and maintenance
• Clean the light using a damp cloth.
• Use only mild cleaning agents. Never use solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Be careful not to damage the solar panel.
Replacing the battery
The rechargeable battery can be replaced as follows:
1. Set the on/off switch to OFF.
2. Unscrew the four screws holding the cover
of the light housing (C).
3. The battery is under the circuit board.
Remove the 4 screws (D) and lift out
the circuit board. Note: Be careful not to
damage the wires.
4. Replace the battery and make sure that
the new battery is inserted with the correct
polarity. Replace the circuit board and
the cover of the light housing.
5. Set the on/off switch to ON.
Note: The replacement battery must be
same type as the original (a lithium 3.7 V
18650 battery with a protection circuit).
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be disposed of with

general household waste. This applies throughout the entire EU.
To prevent any harm to the environment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, the product must be handed in for recycling so
that the materials can be disposed of in a responsible way. To recycle
the product, take it to your local recycling facility or contact the retailer.
They will ensure that the product is disposed of in an environmentally
sound manner.
