Preparing the Installation Files
Downloading program files from the Internet
Download the current files from our website
local computer. The file name is antivir-mailgate-prof-<version>.tar.gz
Copy the file to a directory of your choice on the computer on which you want
to install AntiVir MailGate. For example, in /tmp .
Unpacking program files
Go to the temporary directory:
Unpack the archive for the AntiVir kit:

You need a license to run AntiVir MailGate (see
license file hbedv.key is delivered by email. It contains information on the scope and
period of the license.

You may test AntiVir MailGate for 30 days, if you fill in the

Copying the license file
Copy the license file hbedv.key to your installation directory. For example:

You can copy the license file later to the program directory /usr/lib/AntiVir/

tar -xzvf antivir-mailgate-prof-<version>.tar.gz
The directory antivir-mailgate-prof-<version> will be created in the temporary
directory.
