QUICK START MANUAL FOR AIRMATE USB
Before you begin:

Download the user manual:
Visit www.dnrbroadcast.com, click the Support button on the homepage, and select Brochures /
Manuals / Software. Download the Airmate USB User Manual and read it at least once.

Safety reminder:
Turn OFF both the Airmate USB and any connected equipment before connecting them to avoid
grounding issues that may cause damage.
Power up the equipment in the following order:
1. Turn ON the Airmate USB.
2. Turn ON the connected equipment.

Maintenance tips:
o
Periodically clean the front panel.
o
Avoid smoking, eating, or drinking near the console.
1. Setting up USB modules
Configuring USB channel settings
•
The Airmate USB allows customization of output signals to the USB connector using internal
jumpers:
o
Default setting: Post-master stereo fader signal sent to the USB connector.
o
Alternate setting: Move the jumpers to the mid positions for a pre-fader signal.
Adjusting USB levels
•
To monitor levels, use an audio application on your PC or the free tool available on:
https://www.darkwooddesigns.co.uk/pc2/testgen.html
•
Access trimmers inside the console by removing the bottom plate to adjust the level.
•
Adjust the return signal using the Gain control of the Airmate USB channel.
Connecting to your computer
1. Use a standard USB cable (included with the 12-fader version).
2. When connected, your computer (PC or Mac) will recognize the Airmate USB as new hardware.
3. No drivers are needed; simply plug in the USB cable and start your audio programs.
