Introduction
The PCI Express 6.0 capable adapter kits for Teledyne LeCroy's PCI Express 6.0 EDSFF/OCP Interposer module allow you
to use the interposer with servers of different EDSFF size configurations, or convert the EDSFF interposer to an OCP form
factor. This manual provides instructions for adding the cable assembly along with the appropriate adapter. The kit includes
all the necessary brackets and screws necessary to complete the assembly.
For more details when using with PCIe Analyzers or PCIe Gen6 Interposers, refer to the corresponding user manuals.

Installation Perform the following steps to connect the host cable assembly and the device bracket to the Interposer: 1. Remove the three screws and cover plate from the top side of the interposer. NOTE: Save the screws to re-install the cover plate (step 4). 2. - Page 5 3. Screw the horizontal bracket into the interposer chassis. NOTE: Do not over-tighten screws during installation. To install the bracket flush with the interposer, adjust the bracket while tightening screws. 4. Reinstall the cover plate, re-using the three screws from step 1.

- Page 7 Caseless EDSFF Device and Adapter Installation An optional adapter is provided for the Caseless EDSFF Device. Secure the Caseless Device to the Caseless Adapter before sliding it into the interposer device bracket. 1. - Page 9 Sleeve Adapter Installation The sleeve adapter is used to change the front of the E1.S/L cable assembly to standard width so it can be used with the standard device bracket. This helps the cable assembly to fit snugly into the EDSFF slot. 1.

- Page 11 OCP Bracket/Latch Installation There are two ways to secure the adapter part of the interposer to the system under test: A bracket or a latch. Use the method that works for the chosen adapter. Bracket Installation 1. Locate the two screw holes on the side of the adapter and attach the bracket as shown. Use the third screw to secure the interposer to the System Under Test chassis.
- Page 12 Vertical Support Bracket Installation The Vertical Support Bracket is provided for when it is necessary to install the cable assembly vertically instead of horizontally. 1. Remove the screws and support brackets from the interposer. NOTE: Save the screws, washers, and nuts for re-assembly (steps 3 and 4). 2.
