    IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS RISK OF EYE INJURY. Always wear ANSI Z87.1 approved safety goggles when using an air compressor. Never point any nozzle or sprayer toward a person, animal or any part of the body. Equipment can cause serious injury if the spray penetrates the skin.

    OVERVIEW resumes compressing air. BASIC AIR COMPRESSOR COMPONENTS The air line outlet (see E). Connect 1/4” NPT air hose to this outlet. The basic components of the air compressor are the electric motor, pump, Fig. 1 pressure switch and tank (see Fig. 1). The electric motor (see A) powers the pump.
