Electrical safety regulations & requirements The use of the LEAF requires an electrical system with sound safety grounding. The electrical safety of the device is only assured if it is cor- rectly connected to a grounding system built in accordance with safety regulations.

The LEAF will remain hot for a considerable period of time after it has been switched off. Do not touch the LEAF for a period of 40 minutes after it has been switched off. Caution should be exercised at all times.
The LEAF is not allowed for use in greenhouses or construction sites. Always keep the LEAF free of snow. Whenever the LEAF is not in use, the cover must be used, to protect the LEAF Heatsail will not be held responsible for damage resulting from non-compliance with the instructions regarding use and maintenance.

3.2. Replacing the lamp Your LEAF is supplied with 6 G4 halogen bulbs of 12V with a maximum output of 40 Watt as standard. The maximum permitted output power is 320 Watt. The electrical supply must be disconnected via the installation’s breaker switch or by unplugging the device before the bulb can be replaced.

3.4. Fabric maintenance: Heatsail works with Sunbrella®, the world leader in best quality outdoor fabrics. Sunbrella® fabrics are made of 100% acrylic fibre and are thermoplastic or heat-sensitive. General or light cleaning: To clean the fabric, first remove the fabric from the frame.

User manual 6.1 Touchscreen ON/OFF To turn your LEAF on or OFF, you need to press 3 seconds on the Heatsail logo on top of the touch- screen The colour will change from red to white. OPEN/CLOSE To open the shading function of the LEAF, you press on the sec- ond icon.

6.2 Turning you LEAF You can rotate your LEAF on the base provided. Locate the locking pin on the back of the LEAF. Lift it and gently rotate until the LEAF is in your desired position. Please note: Ensure the stability of your product at all times.

6.6 Activate the misting system After plugging the pump into a suitable outlet and turning the water tap halfway open, you can turn on the pump. You have two options to use the fogging system of your BEEM; either you use the APP or you use the buttons below.

LEAF, after pairing the LEAF with your smartphone, you can click on the wheel on the “SHADING” field. The lower the value: the faster the LEAF will close in windy con- ditions. Please note: this feature only works if the LEAF is connected to the mains and can only be used at your own risk.

Before doing any work on the LEAF, disconnect the power supply via the main switch of the installation or by unplugging the LEAF. One of the lights does not work Raise the glass, turn and remove. Now you have access to the halogen bulb.
