SKIN TONE: PEACH™ devices are suitable for use on light, medium and dark skin tones, up to and including skin tone 5.
HAIR COLOR: PEACH™ devices are suitable for use on naturally black or brown hair. They may not be as effective on white, grey, blonde or red hair.
Congratulations on taking the first step toward discovering smarter hair removal by acquiring PEACH™. Before you begin to enjoy all the benefits of its sophisticated technology in the comfort of your home, please take a few moments to carefully read the instructions in this manual.
Please READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE and utilize these devices only for their intended use as described in this manual.
INTENDED USE: PEACH™ devices are over-the-counter devices intended for the removal of unwanted body hair and/or facial hair.
BODY AREAS: PEACH™ devices are suitable for use on body hair and female facial hair below the cheek line.
NO MODIFICATION OF THIS EQUIPMENT IS ALLOWED.
PEACH™ devices are designed to help break the cycle of hair growth. Light energy is transferred through the skin's surface and is absorbed by melanin present in the hair shaft. The absorbed light energy is converted to heat energy (below the surface of the skin), which disables the hair follicle. Treated hairs naturally fall out over the course of a few days to 1-2 weeks. Hair growth is cyclical and follows 3 distinct and consecutive phases. IPL treatment is only effective when hairs are in a particular phase (the Anagen – growth phase). Not all hairs are in the same phase at any one time. This is why you should follow the recommended treatment regimen of 1 treatment every week, for 12 weeks.
Immediately post treatment, you should not see any significant side effects from treatment (Refer to section titled 'Side Effects' for more information on side effects).
In the first few weeks following the initial treatments, you will still see some hairs growing. These are likely to be hairs that were missed during treatment i.e. they were lying dormant and not in their growth phase (Anagen) during treatment; when IPL is most effective.
Around 6 weeks into the 12 week treatment program you should see a reduction in hair growth. However, many hairs may still not have been treated in their growth phase. It is important to continue the treatments every week. After the 12 week program, you should see a significant reduction in hairs within the treated area. Any remaining hairs should be finer and / or lighter in color. Continued monthly treatments, or treatments as required, should maintain the reduction in unwanted hair.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do NOT use the devices:
DO NOT expose treated areas to the sun. Wait at least 7 days after treatment before exposing treated skin to direct sunlight. Your skin may be extra sensitive following an IPL treatment and particularly susceptible to sunburn. Apply sunscreen (SPF 15 or greater) to the treated area or cover the treated area with suitable clothing.
If you are unsure whether these devices are safe for you to use, please consult your physician or dermatologist.
If you take any kind of medication regularly and over a long period of time, please consult your physician for any potential impact on skin sensitivity to light.
EYE SAFETY
PEACH™ devices emit flashes of intense pulsed light. Direct exposure is potentially harmful to your eyes. Take care to follow the safety precautions below.
Possible eye injury (potentially leading to loss of vision) or skin injury if instructions are not followed. Read and follow the instructions.
The devices should only be activated (flashed) if they are in full contact with the skin. However:
DO NOT:
WE RECOMMEND you look away from the devices when firing onto your skin.
ELECTRICAL AND SAFETY
As with any electrical device, certain precautions must be taken in order to ensure your safety.

PRECAUTIONS
SIDE EFFECTS | HOW TO ASSESS & REACT |
Mild pain / discomfort in the area being treated | This is expected and is normal for all IPL treatments. You can keep on using the device as instructed, and the pain should diminish with continued use |
Warm feeling or tingling sensations during treatment, which typically dis- appear after a few seconds to a minute and decrease with continued use. | This is expected and is normal for all IPL treatments. You can keep on using the device as instructed. |
Itchiness in the treatment area. | This is quite common for IPL treatments, and should subside after a short period. You can keep on using the device as instructed. Do not scratch the area. |
Skin redness during or after treatment which disappears within minutes. | This is expected and is normal for all IPL treatments. You can keep on using the device as instructed once skin redness has disappeared. |
Skin redness which does not disappear within minutes and lasts 24-48 hours. | Stop using the device immediately and consult your physician before using it again. |
Pain or discomfort that is intense during treatment or persists after a treatment. | Stop using the device immediately and consult your physician before using it again. |
IN VERY RARE CASES | HOW TO ASSESS & REACT |
Swelling and redness that does not disappear within two to three days. | Stop using the device immediately and consult your physician before using it again. |
Temporary changes in skin color (lightening or darkening). | If your skin color changes, stop using the device immediately and consult your physician. |
Blistering, scarring or burning of the skin. | Stop using the device immediately and consult your physician before using it again. Apply a cold pack to the area. Treat with antiseptic or burn cream. |
Follow each step in the treatment process ensuring you complete all aspects of each step before progressing to the next.
Remove any visible hair on the skin before using the device. We recommend shaving body hair and dermaplaning facial hair, for optimal results. Make sure there is no hair remaining above the surface of the skin as this may cause injury. This also prevents debris from covering the front of your device. Clean the treatment area and pat it dry.
Attach the relevant plug adapter to the power cable. Then use the power cable to connect the device to an electrical outlet. The device will turn on automatically. You can adjust to your preferred intensity level using the + and - buttons.
NOTE: Levels 1 - 3 on your device are intended for sensitive areas and first time users. With reduced light intensity, more treatments may be required to see the desired effects. As long as the treatment feels comfortable, increase the setting by one level.
Before your first treatment on each new body area, we RECOMMEND you test your skin in that area for a reaction to the device. The patch test area should be approximately 3cm x 3cm in size (equivalent to 1 flash from PEACH™). Perform the patch test as described below in the 'Treatment Methods' section, under 'Stamp Mode'. Wait 24 hours following the patch test, to ensure your skin is suitable for treatment and there is no adverse reaction to the light energy. If there is no reaction after 24 hours, you may treat the area around the patch test. The 'patch tested area' should NOT be re-treated for at least 1 week. If a skin reaction develops, discontinue using the device and consult your physician.
The area to be treated must be hair-free, clean and dry. Before pushing the flash button, look away from the device to avoid the bright light. In rare cases, you may find the flash too bright. There is no safety risk associated with this. For increased comfort, we recommend treating in a well-lit room to help reduce the perceived brightness. However, if you find the light is still too bright, we recommend wearing sunglasses for extra eye protection. We also recommend wearing sunglasses for extra eye protection when using the device to remove hair on the face.
For fast & efficient treatment of large areas - like the legs, arms, chest, back & stomach
For treating small or hard-to-reach areas - like the face, bikini line & underarms
NOTE:
For optimal results, the device should be used once every week for 12 weeks to ensure all hair follicles are treated.
After the initial treatment phase (once every week for 12 weeks), to maintain results we recommend using the device once a month, or as required.
Always wait 7 days before treating the same area again
After treatment, always switch off the device by unplugging the power supply from the device and the electrical outlet.
After each use, the treatment window should be thoroughly wiped with a slightly damp, lint free cloth. It is particularly important to keep the front of the device and skin cooling ducts free from dirt, hair or other debris to ensure maximum performance.
The treatment window can get hot during use. DO NOT touch or clean the treatment window for at least 5 minutes after use to allow it to cool down.
NOTE:
