Explanation of symbols used on the product label

The power of the charger must range from a minimum power of 2.0 watt required by the radio system to a maximum power of 2.0 watt required to achieve the maximum charging speed.
The standardised USB interface means that a charger with a higher output power can also be used.

The enclosed power supply unit is only suitable for connection to the transmitter/charging station.

Safety instructions

  • The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.
  • Use the product only for the intended purpose.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  • Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products are not permitted.
  • Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leave any and all service work to qualified experts.
  • Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
  • Do not bend or crush the cable.
  • Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.
  • Dispose of packaging material immediately in accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
  • Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry environments only.
  • Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters, other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

  • Do not use the product during the charging process!

rechargeable battery

  • Only use suitable charging devices or USB ports to charge the product.
  • Do not use defective chargers or USB ports and do not attempt to repair them.
  • Do not overcharge the product or allow the battery to completely discharge.
  • Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).
  • When stored over a long period of time, batteries should be charged regularly (at least every three months).


magnets

  • This product generates magnetic fields. Individuals with cardiac pacemakers should consult a doctor before using this product as it may affect the pacemaker's proper function.
  • Do not store bank or similar cards with magnetic strips near the charging case or earphones. The data on the cards could be damaged or completely deleted.


high volume

  • High sound pressure!
  • There is a risk of hearing damage.
  • To prevent any loss of hearing, avoid listening at loud volumes for prolonged periods.
  • Always keep the volume at a reasonable level. Loud volumes can damage hearing – even over short periods.
  • Using this product limits your perception of ambient noise. For this reason, do not operate any vehicles or machines while using this product.

Installation and commissioning

Installation and commissioning

Transmitter installation

  • Only operate the product from an approved socket that is connected to the public power supply. The socket must be installed close to the product and must be easily accessible.
  • Disconnect the product from the power supply using the On/ Off switch – if this is not available, unplug the power cord from the socket.
  • If using a multi-socket power strip, make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed the socket strip's maximum throughput rating.
  • If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.
  • Connect the 2.4 GHz station to a suitable power source using the power supply unit supplied.
  • Now connect the audio output of your TV to the jack socket of the station using the audio cable supplied. Alternatively, you can connect the station to the optical output of the TV using an optical cable (not included in the extent of delivery).

Receiver installation

  • Charge the headphones fully before using them for the first time. LED lights up red.
  • Switch the headphones on (7). LED flashes cyan.
  • The headphones automatically recognise the 2.4 GHz signal and the LED lights up blue.
  • Alternatively, the headphones can be operated via BT. If the headphones do not receive a signal from the 2.4 GHz transmitter, they automatically switch to BT reception. Select "hama TV-headphones Station" in your playback source. After successful pairing, the LED lights up green.

information Note: Power supply unit

  • The supplied power supply unit is not suitable for the headphones. To charge them, place the headphones on the charging station. Alternatively, the headphones can be charged via a suitable USB-C cable (not included in the extent of delivery).

Switching on/off

ON: Press the On/Off button (7) for approx. 2 seconds, the announcement "Power On" sounds.

OFF: To switch off, press the On/Off button (7) for approx. 3 seconds, the announcement "Power OFF" sounds.

information Note – Automatic switch-off of the headphones
The headphones are equipped with an automatic switch-off mechanism. If there is no connection to your device within 3 minutes, they switch off automatically.

Charging

Fully charge the headphones once before using them for the first time.

Switch off the headphones and connect them

  • Ensure that the headphones are switched off before charging them.
  • Hang the headphones on the charging station.
  • Alternatively, connect a USB charging cable (not included in the extent of delivery) to the charging socket (2). Connect the free plug on the USB-C charging cable to a suitable USB charger. To do this, consult the operating instructions for the USB charger you are using.

Charging process for the headphones

The LED (9) lights up solid red during the charging process.

Once the charging process is complete, the LED (9) goes out.

It can take up to 2.5 hours for the battery to be fully charged.

Battery capacity

When the headphone battery capacity is low, the LED (9) flashes red and the announcement "Battery Low" is heard.

Bluetooth® connection (pairing) - Alternative use directly without dongle

information Note - pairing

  • Ensure that the Bluetooth®-enabled device is switched on and that the Bluetooth® function is activated.
  • Please refer to the operating instructions of your device for more information.

The headphones and the device should not be more than 1 metre apart. The shorter the distance, the better. Switch the headphones on using the On/Off button (7). Press the Vol+ (5) and Vol- (6) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until you hear "Pairing".

If the LED (9) is flashing alternately blue and the announcement:
Headphones searching for a Bluetooth® connection.

When the LED (9) lights up green and the announcement:
The headphones are already paired with a Bluetooth® device.

Control elements

Mode

You can select from 3 different modes using the Mode button (8).

Normal mode: neutral playback

Full mode: treble and bass amplified Voice mode: speech emphasised
To do this, press the button once to switch to the next mode

Phone

You can use the Phone button (4) to accept and end phone calls in Bluetooth mode

Volume control

Increase volume
Press the + button (5) once to increase the volume. When the maximum volume is reached, a signal is heard.

Decrease volume
Press the –button (6) once to decrease the volume.

Audio playback via an audio cable

Alternatively, you can also connect these headphones using an AUX cable. To do this, plug one end into the device and the other end into the audio input (3).

Care and maintenance

information Note
Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.

  • Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners.
  • Ensure that no water is able to enter the product.
