CLEANING GUIDE
CLEANING THE TANK
1
Ensure the battery door is closed securely.
2
Remove the tank from the base and set on a
level surface away from the base to prevent
exposing the base to harsh chemicals.
3
Empty the tank per chemical manufacturer
recommendations and fill it about one-third
full with clean water. A small amount of mild
household detergent may be added. Replace the
cap and gently slosh the water around the tank.
CLEANING ELECTRICAL CONTACTS
Keep electrical contact posts between
bottom of tank and base clean.
WARNING!
§ Remove battery pack from tool before
cleaning electrical contacts.
§ Clean contacts with a dry, clean cloth only.
§ Clean pins on the underside of the tank.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
1
The pump filter is located at the bottom of the tank and
requires a quarter turn counter-clockwise to remove.
CLEANING THE GASKETS
1
Keep gaskets clean between the battery
door and base to minimize the possibility
of harsh chemicals entering the base.
4
Install the tank on the base and spray the water
until the tank has been emptied. Make sure to
direct the spray toward an area that will not be
damaged by residual chemicals in the tank.
2
Rinse the filter with clean water
and mild household detergent.
3
Wipe off with a dry, clean cloth.
2
Keep gaskets clean between the lid and tank
to minimize leaking of harsh chemicals.
TM
5
Repeat the procedure with clean water
until the tank is thoroughly clean. Wash
outside of nozzles and dry with a cloth.
4
When dried, the filter should be reinserted
into the pump with a quarter turn clockwise.
6
Wipe the outside of the tank with a clean, dry cloth.
7
Allow all pieces to completely dry before
reinstalling parts and storing the unit. Always
reinsert strainer before replacing tank cap.
5
When placing the filter back down, make sure
it is flat against the bottom of the tank.
