PART-TIME FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE MODELS
Type A (Shift the lever)
High speed (2WD)
H2
Shift the lever from "H4" to "H2" (type A) or push the "UNLOCK" button and turn the switch
from "H4" to "H2" at any speed (type B.)

High speed (4WD)
- Shift the lever from "H2" to "H4" with speed below 50 mph (type A) or push the "UNLOCK"
button and turn the switch from "H2" to "H4" with speed below 62 mph (type B.)

- Stop the vehicle and shift to "N" position, then move the lever from "L4" to "H4" (type A) or
push the "UNLOCK" button and turn the switch from "L4" to "H4" (type B.)

Low speed (4WD)
Stop the vehicle and shift to "N" position, then move the lever from "H4" to "L4" (type A) or
push the "UNLOCK" button and then push and turn the switch from "H4" to "L4" (type B.)

FULL-TIME FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE MODELS
H4F
High speed
Push the "UNLOCK" button and turn the switch between "H4L" and "H4F" at any speed.

High speed (Center differential locked)
Stop the vehicle and shift to "N" position, push the "UNLOCK" button and turn the switch
from "L4L" to "H4L."
Maintain this condition until "

Low speed (Center differential locked)
Stop the vehicle and shift to "N" position, push the "UNLOCK" button and then push and
turn the switch from "H4L" to "L4L."
