Pre-Installation Check:
1. Choose a location which is easily accessible for servicing.The equipment should be kept away from direct sunlight and rain.
The place should be such that in case a leak develops in piping, the damage is likely to be the least.
2. Ensure power supply with 100-240V/50-60Hz output.
3. Drain facility should be available during the automatic backflush.
4. Please inspect if all the items (accessories, media, etc.) has arrived before the installation.
5. Ensure installation is done by a Eureka Forbes representative or its authorized agents only.
Condition
Installation procedure
1. Place FRP vessel at a safe location with enough space to service the unit.
2. Fit bottom strainer onto UPVC Pipe with glue.
3. Place pipe with bottom strainer inside FRP vessel, cut off excess pipe such that the height of pipe + bottom strainer is
same height as vessel top (when placed inside vessel) Refer Figure 1.
4. Pour media as per table (refer Order of media filling).
5. Fit top strainer onto multiport valve.
6. Fit 2.5 inch O Ring.
7. Push multiport valve with top strainer onto UPVC pipe.
8. Press multiport valve down gently and tighten. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
9. Fit Flow Sensor into outlet of multiport valve using the 1 inch Male-Male adaptor and O-Rings at both ends.
10. Connect multiport valve cable to flow sensor.
11. Connect pipelines as shown in Figure 2.
12. If two or more filter systems are in series, connect the interconnect cable between the multiport valves.
13. Multiport valve should be programmed by a company representative or authorised agent of the company.
14. Run water and check for leaks.
15. Do not connect the output line until flushing is complete.
16. Flush filter system until output water is clear.
17. Connect output line to storage tank.
