HOW TO USE Measure the desired amount of rice with the measuring cup supplied with this appliance. Add this to a container such a large bowl or pot. One cup contains 180 ml (about 150 g) of rice. Important Notice This is NOT the Inner Pot It is an ordinary container used to rinse the raw rice Rinse the rice several times until the water in the container becomes relatively clear.

When the rice is cooked, the Selector will “pop” up and a “click” sound will be heard. Simultaneously, the ‘COOK’ Indicator Light will be replaced by the ‘WARM’ Indicator Light. When cooking congee or soup, the instructions are the same. However, when the cooking is completed, manually PULL UP the Selector button.
HOW TO CLEAN Switch the appliance off by pressing the Selector button upwards, switch the wall switch OFF, unplug the power cable from the wall socket and the appliance when not in use and before filling, emptying and cleaning the appliance. Allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool. Remove the Inner Pot and Lid from the body of the appliance.
