Level the rice inside the Inner Pot, wipe the exterior of the pot dry and place the Inner Pot inside the body of the appliance. Close the Lid securely using the Lid Handle, plug the power cable into the electric mains and press the Selector button downwards. The ‘Cook’ Indicator light will illuminate and the heating will commence.

6. Level the rice inside the Inner Pot and wipe the exterior of the pot dry. If the sides or bottom of the Inner Pot is wet, when water comes into contact with the Heating Plate, besides noises emanating from the appliance, it might lead to electrical malfunctions in the appliance. Place the Inner Pot inside the body of the appliance, and ensure that contact between the bottom of the pot and the Heating Plate is evenly distributed.

HOW TO CLEAN Switch off the appliance and unplug the socket from the electric mains when not in use and before filling, emptying and cleaning the appliance. Allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool. Remove the Inner Pot and Lid from the body of the appliance. If some rice is still present, adding some warm soapy water to the Inner Pot and leaving it to stand for about 20 minutes might prove helpful in removing the rice later on.
