Operating instructions
Digital Countdown Timer with USB
Please read the following instructions carefully before
connecting this countdown timer to electrical appliances.
Warnings:
• Do not connect in series!
• De-energized only when disconnected!
• Do not cover during operation!
• Only use in dry rooms!
• Always place the product so that the socket is easily
accessible and you can easily reach the main plug!
• When touching damaged, open or live parts, there is the
risk of electric shock!
• Observe the maximum switching capacity.
• Appliances containing heating elements must not be
operated unattended. The manufacturer does not recom-
mend using such appliances with the countdown timer.
Intended use
The countdown timer is a very simple way of switching off
lamps and electrical appliances after a set time has elapsed.
A typical example of this would be switching off a battery
charger after a certain time.
Any other use is considered improper use. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for damage resulting from improper use.

Operation
1. Plug the countdown timer into the socket and switch it on
by briefly pressing the setting button „1" or „2".
2. Press the setting button „2" repeatedly until the desired
socket programme appears. There are 9 options (ON,
15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours,
8 hours, OFF) that you can select. During the time setting,
the corresponding LED lights up constantly. If no more
buttons are pressed, the LED goes out in 10 seconds and
the timer of the socket starts.
3. Press the setting button for USB „1" repeatedly until the
desired USB programme appears. There are 9 options (ON,
15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours,
8 hours, OFF) to choose from. The corresponding LED
flashes while the time is being set. If no more buttons
are pressed, the LED goes out after 10 seconds and the
timer for the USB sockets starts.
Helpful recommendations
1. USB sockets and power sockets are controlled independ-
ently of each other.
2. If no button is pressed within 10 seconds, the LED goes
out. The countdown programme you have set continues to
work.
3. If the USB port or socket is running the countdown pro-
gramme and the LED is not lit, press the USB or SOCKET
button once to display the current programme. Press the
USB or SOCKET button again to return the programme to
setting mode.
4. The timer has an automatic memory. If the appliance has
not been disconnected from the mains, the last set time is
displayed again by pressing the button once.
5. Please note: In the event of a power failure or after un-
plugging, the countdown timer setting will be cancelled.

Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. It cannot be repaired.
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the socket and
clean it with a dry cloth.

household waste. The European Directive 2012/19/EU
on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment rules that
used electric appliances should be collected separately
and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. For
possibilities of disposal of the used appliance, please contact
your local or municipal administration.
